The Covington Business Association is excited to host the Final Friday Block Parties on the last Friday of the month, March through October from 6 to 9pm. The block party is a free event open to the community, featuring Classic Cars, Car Clubs, and CBA member businesses.

Classic Car Display: A “Classic Car”, in our definition, is a well maintained or restored automobile 20 years or older. An automobile's qualifications and display privileges are at the discretion of the CBA. The block party is a first come, first served situation for people who would like to display their vehicles. Please park only in designated areas, highlighted on the Block Party Map. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR VEHICLE UNATTENDED AT ANY TIME.

Car Club Alley is the area of S. Columbia Street from Boston to Rutland. This area is for CBA member/ registered car clubs. Only approved and pre-appointed car club vehicles may park there. No classic car parking is allowed.

‍Note: CBA membership does not guarantee you space in Car Club Alley. Sign up for the spaces occur at regularly scheduled CBA meetings and are limited. If there are more than 4 clubs requesting space, we will revert to a lottery system.

Please pick up your parking pass at the CBA Info Tent and clearly display in your vehicle at every block party.

Member Alley: Only CBA members may set up on Gibson St. Electricity is not provided. Spaces are limited and not reserved. They are on a first come, first served basis. Please contact Howard Harper at info@gocovington.org if you would like to display your business or have any questions.

Art Alley: If you are an artist and a member of the St. Tammany Art Association and would like to know more about displaying on Art Alley, please contact Kate Fusilier at info@gocovington.org

‍Please Remember:

The streets will be marked NO PARKING after 4 pm. Please abide by these as it creates a smoother set up process for everyone and limits hazards.

Barricades will be put in place at 4:30pm to allow for cars not participating to exit, and for classic cars to set up prior to the start of the Block Party. For the safety of everyone, classic vehicles must remain parked until the barricades are removed at 9pm.

Any uncivil behavior will result in you being ineligible to display at the block party.

The CBA reserves the right to CHANGE anything we feel is not in the best interest of the block party, its participants, the public, and the local business community, at any time.
